Rental Opportunity for Dutchess/Poughkeepsie Nonprofits
The Friends Meeting House in Poughkeepsie has a parsonage building available to nonprofits for rental space. Here is more information about it from them:
Our church and parsonage are located in a safe neighborhood
in the City of Poughkeepsie on the corner of Hooker Ave. and Whittier Blvd. Krieger Elementary School is across the
street, and there is light commercial development nearby. Our current tenants, The Center for Prevention of Child
Abuse, will be vacating the Parsonage building on Jan. 22, and we are looking
for new tenants. Because there are many
rooms in this older Center Hall Colonial, this could be an excellent
opportunity for several small organizations to share space, equipment, or even
staff or for one large organization to occupy the entire building.
The parsonage adjoins
our red brick church building, which also can provide rental space on
weekdays. The property has a large
parking lot with 45 spaces, and about 1.5 acres of grassy lawn with mature trees.
Kindly contact Fred Doneit at 845-297-5046 if you have
interest in seeing the property and floor plan.
